Presentation

INEBIR, the Institute for the Study of Human Reproductive Biology, and FUNIBER, the Ibero-American University Foundation, are launching a Master's program in Assisted Human Reproduction to enrich the training of students interested in pursuing a professional career in the field of human reproduction. Currently, no university can offer comprehensive and continuous training across the broad spectrum of topics required by this subspecialty. Therefore, INEBIR aims to develop educational strategies that enable lifelong learning, and as a result, an alliance has been formed with FUNIBER, leaders in specialized online training.

The Master in Assisted Human Reproduction is a high-level academic program that allows students to develop reflective, critical, and humanistic thinking; with a focus on the clinical aspects of human infertility, as well as knowledge of the skills needed in the embryology laboratory.

In this way, the aim is to present the Master's program as a benchmark academic program, which, through a novel academic articulation focused on the development of knowledge and research, generates skills and sustainable solutions to respond to the needs involved in the practice of the specialty of human infertility and reproductive medicine.

To whom it May concern

The master's program has two student profiles, which, although they have different characteristics, have complementary points that allow for a comprehensive academic proposal.

  1. Students holding a bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, Biology, or related fields. Also, those with medical specializations in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, and other specialties related to reproductive medicine. This type of potential student has at least two profiles:
    • This is for someone seeking professional development in the various ways of analyzing and understanding reproductive medicine. They are interested in complementary and specific training that allows them to deepen, refresh, or update their professional skills and perform more efficiently in their job; or that these studies broaden their employment prospects; or offer a qualitative advantage given the competitiveness of the professional environment.
    • The other profile is interested in deepening theoretical and methodological knowledge with a more investigative interest that facilitates the leap to doctoral studies.
  2. Students with university training in non-related fields such as business administration, economics, health and medical insurance management, psychology... These types of students seek training that teaches them the necessary tools to efficiently manage human reproduction units.
