Today we share with you the story of some patients for whom the journey has been long and difficult. For three years, they placed their trust in the Inebir team (formerly Bionac), undergoing surgery and various treatments to combat endometriosis and infertility simultaneously. Today, looking at their babies, they feel that all their effort was worthwhile.
Why did you decide to go to Inebir?
We heard great things about Dr. Navarro and Inebir (then Bionac). There's definitely no one better in Seville for endometriosis; it's a shame we didn't find him sooner.
How did you feel after your first visit? Were your questions answered?
When we left our first appointment with Dr. Navarro, we knew we were in the right place. Our previous experience at another clinic (and my extensive experience with other gynecologists I consulted for my endometriosis) allows us to speak with authority. Dr. Navarro answered all our questions. I remember him listing all my symptoms without me having to say a word, and I also remember him telling us it would be a difficult road, but that we would get through it. I also remember being surprised by the thorough examination he gave me and the number of tests he ordered (I suppose this should be the norm, but it hadn't been the case for us before). I think we were in the office for an hour and a half or more; I don't think there are many places where they spend that much time with you.

How was the treatment? How did you cope with this long process?
The treatments! I can't talk about just one treatment; three years is a long time! And ours was truly a long road. They've been difficult years, hard to explain: the medication, the injections, constantly checking the time for months, not being able to plan anything in advance (not vacations, not weekends…), the explanations at work… The excitement of the first attempt, the cancellations, the surgery, the utter sadness after a miscarriage, the fear and at the same time the hope of starting again…
It's been tough, but we both knew we'd see it through to the end, that as long as Dr. Navarro said there was a chance, we'd keep trying. And he always told us we'd make it to the birth—and we did!
How has your experience been with the entire Inebir team?
Excellent, as I said above, we came from another clinic and I can assure you that the treatment is completely different.
All the doctors, nurses, reception staff—you're all wonderful. Always with a smile and a word of encouragement. I remember the calls to give me the positive results; I can assure you the nurses who called were almost as happy as I was!
I imagine that now, seeing the little ones, all the effort was worth it. What advice would you give to women who are thinking about going to a fertility clinic?
Yes, seeing my children's faces, I can assure you that all the effort was worth it. And if I can offer any advice, it's to do your research before choosing a clinic. I deeply regret the time and money I wasted by not being properly informed at the beginning. And of course, I would recommend Inebir because I don't think there's anywhere else where you'll feel as well cared for as they do.
And what about patients who are currently undergoing treatment?
I would tell them that it's possible. When you're trying, sometimes you get discouraged, negativity takes over, and you think you'll never be a mother. But you have to overcome those fears because it is possible, and believe it or not, all the bad things you have to go through are forgotten. Plus, you also get so many good things out of it, like meeting each other. Keep your spirits up, everyone!

I went through the same thing, it seems like my story. It took us five years to achieve it. The first clinic we went to was crazy, and thankfully we ended up in the hands of Dr. Navarro. After three operations, many suspended treatments, and many tests, we finally got there, and today they are almost thirteen years old.
